Maryland-based singer and songwriter, Zaneta, debuted in 2022 with a go-go cover of Anita Baker's classic, Caught Up in the Rapture. Her second release was a soulful and bluesy acoustic cover of Melissa Etheridge's I'm the Only One. Zaneta followed her unique covers with her first original song, Unburden, a romantic R&B ballad.
Zaneta's musical taste includes a wide range of genres from R&B and jazz to rock and hip-hop. She grew up listening to Prince, Michael Jackson, and Stevie Wonder. Her major influences were the voices of Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, and Mary J. Blige.
In 2007, Zaneta began singing karaoke. Inspired by the positive response she received, she focused on her singing career and joined a go-go band. Now a solo artist, she likes to blend the musical genres that influenced her. Her vocals range from soprano to baritone. Zaneta showcases her range and vocal taste in her first EP, Out the Box. Out the Box is out now on all streaming platforms.
